Women’s health is an example of population health and women have several unique health issues like pregnancy, and menstrual disorders, etc., Many women work harder till late night sacrificing their energy for their career and family, therefore to recognize their efforts, Bama Subramanian Memorial Hospital in collaboration with Shri Narayani Nidhi Limited, Kumbakonam & Thiruvarur, organized a Free Medical Camp for the Maternity and Fertility Treatment, on Sunday, the 6th of November, 2022, from 9.00am-3.00pm.
In this Free Medical Camp, Dr. T. S. Sathyavani Bai., M.D., D.G.O., (Senior Gynecologist & Obstetrician, Surgery Specialist, Intensive Labor Monitoring, Infertility Treatment), treated the public for the following, and managing other issues related to women’s health:
- PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease)
- Medical Advices for Pregnant Women
- Uterus Issues
- Identifying Symptoms of Breast Cancer
Medical advice and suggestions are completely free of cost. Hemoglobin, Sugar Level, Thyroid, and HBA1C were other tests investigated in this Camp at an affordable cost; Patients who took part in this program received discounts on their prescribed medicines.
We at BSM Hospital, believe that through organizing such Medical Camps will be a valuable opportunity to the society, and their dependents to take a step forward to improving their health, as health is crucial to one’s quality of life.
